SYMPTOMS
After you change the System Settings in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the System
Settings reverts to the previous settings.
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
You install Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
on the same server.
The server is running Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 or Windows
Server 2003.
On the "Specify Security Account setup" Web page, you select a domain user
account instead of the default Network Service account.
CAUSE
The problem occurs because there is a permission issue.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
1. On the server that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM, type
http://localhost/Reports in the Address bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer, and
then click Go to open Report Manager.
Note If you renamed the virtual directory for Report Manager when you installed
Reporting Services, use the renamed virtual directory name instead of
"Reports."
2. Click Show Details.
3. Click the icon in the Edit column next to the folder for
your organization.
4. Click Security, and then click New Role Assignment.
5. On the "New Role Assignment" Web page, enter the value in
the Group or user name box.
Note The value that you enter is the service account name for Microsoft
ASP.NET.

NT Authority\Network Service
For a non-English locale, follow these steps:
